What Sequences and Series: AP, GP and HP means physically
A sequence is an ordered list and a series is a sum. Arithmetic progressions have constant difference, geometric progressions constant ratio, and a harmonic progression has reciprocals forming an AP.
AP: an=a+(n−1)d and Sn=n[2a+(n−1)d]/2. GP: an=ar^(n−1), Sn=a(1−r^n)/(1−r) for r≠1.
