Turn C Arrays and Strings into retrievable knowledge

An array stores a fixed sequence of same-type elements in contiguous positions indexed from zero. A C string is a character array terminated by the null character.

1. Map prerequisites and definitions.
2. Derive or justify the main relation: For an array of n elements, valid indices are 0 through n−1. Reserve space for the terminating \0 when storing a string and pass the array length when a function needs bounds.
3. Redraw diagrams from memory.
4. Study this worked checkpoint: int a[5]={2,4,6,8,10}; has a[0]=2 and a[4]=10. char name[6]=”Nepal” includes five letters plus \0.
5. Mix conceptual and numerical questions.

Place easily confused ideas side by side. Write what stays fixed, what changes, the governing equation and the observable consequence. One high-value warning is: Accessing index n, confusing array size with last index, comparing strings with ==, or reading unbounded text into a small buffer.

Use spaced retrieval: ten minutes today, a closed-book test tomorrow and a mixed review after one week. Explain every graph or diagram aloud before using algebra.
